KD to support MEWITHOUTYOU across the US this summer; KD&GDB @ Lollapalooza 2012 & Lolla aftershow with DR. DOG

Through most of July & August, I’ll be supporting MEWITHOUTYOU across the US. This is exciting for me on several fronts, as I love & respect the band & their family so much, and we’ve never done significant touring together outside of one Australian festival in 2008.

This is also my first coast-to-coast US solo tour since 2006, which seems insane but is true. Done groups of regional solo shows all over but never collected as one run, not since Put Your Ghost To Rest first came out.

During the tour, I’ll be linking up with the GDB to appear at this year’s Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, August 3-5.  You can see the full lineup and add us to your personalized festival planner going here. We’ll also be playing an official Lolla aftershow Thursday, August 2nd @ Lincoln Hall with the mighty DR. DOG, promoted by 93XRT.

One connected & bittersweet note: due to these Lollapalooza shows in Chicago 8/2 & 3 and my solo appearance @ The Bunbury Festival in Cincinnati on 7/14, I will miss the mewithoutyou tour dates in Chicago 7/14 and Austin 8/3.

Lastly – I’ll also be headlining solo dates without mewithoutyou July 26th in Santa Barbara, CA,  August 9th in Naples, FL, and August 14th in Danbury, CT.
